The purpose of this organization is exclusively for charitable and educational purpose planting hope through evangelism by enhancing and building communities through families. Providing human services, collecting and distributing clothing and other resources, providing education and training in life skills and developing youth through mentoring.
Our Executive Director
Teresa A.Lassiter
Teresa A. Lassiter is the Executive Director of the Legacy of HOPE Foundation. She has over 11 years of pastoring, she and her husband are the overseers and senior pastors of HOPE Manifested Ministries in Newport News, Virginia and are founders of Greater HOPE Manifested Internation Ministries Bible College in Suffolk. She has over 14 years serving as a Deputy Courtroom Clerk for the Newport News Circuit Court working and communicating with judges’ lawyers, and other court personnel. She has worked in finance and recruitment at Military Ministry, and she has over 13 years of Human Resources experience working at the Army & Air Force Exchange Service as a Human Resources Supervisor, overseeing all aspects of Human Resources. Her heart is to serve people in the community and help revitalize communities by building strong families through hope, love, giving and by collaborating with other organizations and officials to help build socioeconomic success that will cause our community to thrive. She has attended Non-Profit Institute through Network Peninsula and completed Nonprofit Management Essentials through the Allstate Foundation. She has earned her Doctorate Degree in Biblical Studies from Ministry International Institute and completed the Newport News Police Department Citizen's Academy and serves as a Chaplain with the Newport News Police Department.
